current employ: freelancer and photography instructor at the art institute of austin.
lesser-known fact: i speak 3.5 languages (i can't fully count german) and have traveled to more than 25 countries.
when i'm not shooting or teaching classes, you can usually find me drinking coffee at whole foods, heading to a yoga class, or checking out a new band.
about my photography_
my freelance work focuses primarily on still life and lifestyle commercial photography.
i love the studio environment for the precision and relative solitude but i also love the creative collaboration of lifestyle shoots. i've gotten to work with a number of great models and, recently, some awesome dogs for various assignments since i've been in austin.
the classes i teach range from food photography to large format to digital retouching.
